Bringing Your Family Home

There is nothing more important than having your family close. At SSPC Law, we understand that for many Canadian citizens and permanent residents, sponsoring parents and grandparents to join them in Canada is a dream rooted in love, culture, and support.

The Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship (PGP) program is one of the most rewarding immigration pathways, but it is also one of the most competitive and complex. From navigating the “Interest to Sponsor” lottery to meeting the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI), the stakes are high, and the paperwork is extensive.

Led by Simran Singh, our team provides compassionate, detail-oriented legal support to guide your family through every step of this journey.

Why Choose SSPC Law for Your Family Reunification?

  • Compassionate Counsel: We treat your family like our family. We take the time to understand your unique situation and goals.
  • Meticulous Accuracy: Sponsorship applications leave no room for error. A single mistake can result in delays or refusals. We ensure every form and document is precise.
  • Strategic Planning: We help you plan ahead, particularly regarding the income requirement, to ensure you are eligible when the intake window opens.

How We Help: Our PGP Services

1. Eligibility & Income Assessment
We review your household situation to confirm you meet the criteria:

  • Status (Citizen/PR)
  • Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) for the past 3 tax years (including Quebec requirements)
  • Signing the required undertaking agreement

2. Interest to Sponsor & Application Intake
The PGP program operates on a lottery system. We assist with submitting the “Interest to Sponsor” form and, if you are invited, we prepare and submit the complete application package immediately to ensure it is received within the strict deadline.

3. Super Visa Alternative Planning
If you have not been selected in the PGP lottery, or if you need immediate reunification while waiting, we can assist with Parent and Grandparent Super Visa applications, which allow extended stays of up to 5 years at a time.
